Don't you just
hate joining fees, affiliation fees and membership fees? Well, so
do we! That's why we only ask for an attendance deposit of
£50-£100 for each team, which YOU GET BACK when you
leave.
After that, you simply pay your match fees each week either online
or at the venue. They are normally around £4 per
player. The exact fee for your venue can be found on the
Locations page. |
|
 |
 |
You can pay your
joining deposit either over the web here, or over the
phone on 0870 241 2494. Remember, you get this deposit
back.
Many people find that paying on the night is a real hassle, so
make the most of our internet payment options. If you pay for
three mini-seasons in advance you even get a FREE KIT!
Please do not turn up to a game without a means to pay. It
embarrasses everyone. Unless fees are paid in full, our
web-system does not allocate any goals or points to that team, plus
an admin fee may be charged. |
|
 |
 |
It depends on your venue, but usually 30-40
minutes. Some leagues try to squeeze loads of messy 10-minute games
in during an evening, but we believe that games need time to
develop in order to reach a decisive result. That's why you will
get one long game each week. You can focus on your one big match
and you won't be waiting around between fixtures. |
|
 |
 |
You will be
entered into a division with usually seven other teams, and you
will play each of them once or twice. This will take seven weeks
normally but can vary from five to ten weeks.
You get 3 points for a win, and 1 for a draw, and you can track
your league tables on the web each week. At the end of
the 'mini-season' the winners of the division will win a
trophy. Then the top two are promoted and the bottom two are
relegated. The next mini-season will start the following
week. Sometimes, to benefit the league, we may
promote/relegate a different number of teams. |
|
 |
 |
This system is much more fun, because it is
so fast moving. Within just a couple of weeks, there is everything
to fight for.
Every game becomes vital - a 'six-pointer' or a title-decider. You
won't be stuck mid-table for weeks on end in this league!
With the promotions and relegations happening so often, you will
find that you are playing new, fresh teams, and you will also find
your natural place much more quickly. |
|
 |
 |
Don't worry! Our
aim is to create an informal atmosphere of competitive fun. All
abilities are welcome. If you think you have two left feet, no
problem! We can usually put you in a lower division with
teams of roughly the same ability. Just let us know when you
join. |

Pitch Invasion
arranges 200 fixtures per day across the UK, so we really are
experts at arranging 5-a-side football events. If you need
information before your game, you can call our Operations Hotline.
And for match night queries, we always have a coordinator on hand
at the venue. |
|
 |
 |
Your game will always be on the same night of
the week and at the same venue. You can receive an electronic
fixture list in advance showing what time and who you will be
playing.
But make the most of the website - all your
fixture information will be there weeks in advance. Try to
get your team used to checking the web themselves rather than
hassling you!
For the ultimate hassle-free solution, your players can sign up to
our SMS Text Alert function and have fixture alerts and league
tables sent direct to their mobile phone. Perfect for cutting
out all that match day phoning around.

We need to make
sure that once a team enters they fulfil every fixture. If teams
don't show up for a game it means a wasted journey for the
opposition - and of course no football - which is after all
what everyone is there to do. In order to stop this happening we
take an attendance deposit.
If you don't turn up without
informing us, the match fee and an admin charge is deducted
from the deposit and you lose the game. If you miss more than
two games, you may lose your deposit and be removed from the
league.
If you choose to leave the league you will get your deposit back.
However to give us a chance to replace you, we ask simply that you
give us two weeks notice and that you leave at the end of a
mini-season (i.e. usually at the end of a seven week
period)
We have found that with these systems in place absences are minimal
and the night runs smoothly for everyone. |
| |
 |
 |
Fees can be paid
in advance or on the night. You should be advised that we
operate a ‘No Pay, No Result’ system. If fees are
not paid in full by before or on the match night,
any goals will be withdrawn and the result awarded to the
opposition. Teams will also be subject to an administration
fee.
This may seem harsh, but it ensures the league runs smoothly and
creates a level playing field for everyone. |
|
 |
 |
Thankfully this is a rare occurrence for the
reasons outlined above. However if
this does happen to you we will arrange a friendly game
(discounted) with another team so you get to play your football.
You will also get your 3 points as you win by a
'walkover'.
Note that if you know you are going to be absent, you must
inform us by noon on the day. If you do, you will get a
discount on the match fees. If not, you will be charged an
administration fee as well as losing the game and match fee.
It is therefore vital you let us know if you cannot make your
game. |
|
 |
 |
Don't worry. We
will arrange all the paperwork to register your team with the F.A,
and we will even cover any annual F.A. affiliation fees for
you. |
|
 |
 |
Most teams
prefer to wear a decent kit, and we might be able to help by
supplying one from our extensive range - simply give us a
call. If all else fails we will happily supply you with bibs on the
night. |
